STATEMENT OF FAITH:
ALL ASSOCIATED CHURCHES, ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS
BEING ACCEPTED FOR MEMBERSHIP MUST PROFESS THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT OF
FAITH AS A DOCTRINAL BASIS OF BELIEF:
(A) THE DIVINE INSPIRATION AND ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES,
BOTH OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT.
(2Timothy 3:16-17 NKJ)
(16) All Scripture {is} given by inspiration of God, and {is} profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
(17) that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every
good work.
(2Peter 1:19-21 NKJ)
(19) We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well
to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and
the morning star rises in your hearts; (20) knowing this first, that no
prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, (21) for prophecy
never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke {as they were}
moved by the Holy Spirit.
JOH 5:39
"You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal
life; and these are they which testify of Me. (NKJ)
HEB 4:12
For the word of God {is} living and powerful, and sharper than any two
edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart. (NKJ)
MAT 24:35
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means
pass away. (NKJ)
(B) THE ONE AND ONLY LIVING GOD ETERNALLY EXISTENT IN THREE PERSONS IN
UNITY, GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON , AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.
GEN 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (NKJ)
ISAIAH 43:10-11 NKJ
(10) "You {are} My witnesses," says the Lord, "And My
servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand
that I {am} He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be
after Me. (11) I, {even} I, {am} the Lord, and besides Me {there is} no
saviour.
2CO 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion
of the Holy Spirit {be} with you all. Amen. (NKJ)
MAT 28:19
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NKJ)
(John 14:16-17 NKJ)
(16) "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may abide with you forever, (17) "{even} the Spirit of truth,
whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him;
but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
(C) THAT WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD, THEREFORE TRIUNE, SPIRIT, SOUL,
AND BODY.
GEN 1:26
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the
air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing
that creeps on the earth."
HEB 4:12
For the word of God {is} living and powerful, and sharper than any two
edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart. (NKJ)
1TH 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your
whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ. (NKJ)
(D) WE BELIEVE IN THE DEITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THAT HE IS THE
SON OF GOD. WE BELIEVE IN HIS VIRGIN BIRTH, BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, THAT
HE IS GOD IN THE FLESH, IN HIS SINLESS LIFE, IN HIS MIRACLES, IN HIS ATONING
AND VICTORIOUS DEATH ON THE CROSS AT CALVARY, IN HIS BODILY RESURRECTION,
IN HIS ASCENSION TO THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER.
(John 1:1-3 NKJ)
(1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. (2) He was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were
made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
JOH 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
(NKJ)
(HEBREWS CHAPTER 1-8.)
MAT 1:23
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they
shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with
us." (NKJ)
JOH 14:30
"I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world
is coming, and he has nothing in Me. (NKJ)
JOH 2:11
This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested
His glory; and His disciples believed in Him..(NKJ)
(Isaiah 53:4-6 NKJ)
(4) Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed
Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. (5) But He {was} wounded
for our transgressions, {He was} bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement
for our peace {was} upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (6) All
we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own
way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
MAT 28:6
"He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place
where the Lord lay. (NKJ)
ACT 1:9
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken
up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. (NKJ)
(E) THE PERSONAL AND VISIBLE RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TO THE EARTH.
(THE SECOND COMING) WE BELIEVE AT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST, THAT HE
WILL SET UP HIS MILLENNIAL REIGN ON THIS EARTH.
(John 14:1-3 NKJ)
(1) "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe
also in Me. (2) "In My Father's house are many mansions; if {it were}
not {so}, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3)
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, {there} you may be also.
ACT 1:11
who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into
heaven? This {same} Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will
so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." (NKJ)
2TH 2:8
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume
with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
(NKJ)
(Revelation 20:4-10 NKJ)
(4) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed
to them. And {I saw} the souls of those who had been beheaded for their
witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast
or his image, and had not received {his} mark on their foreheads or on
their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
(5) But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years
were finished. This {is} the first resurrection. (6) Blessed and holy
{is} he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death
has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with Him a thousand years. (7) Now when the thousand years have
expired, Satan will be released from his prison (8) and will go out to
deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number {is} as the sand
of the sea. (9) They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded
the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God
out of heaven and devoured them. (10) And the devil, who deceived them,
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false
prophet {are}. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
(F) WE BELIEVE IN THE CALLING AWAY OF THE BELIEVERS (THE RAPTURE) PRIOR
TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
MAT 24:40-41
"Then two {men} will be in the field: one will be taken and the
other left. :41 "Two {women will be} grinding at the mill: one will
be taken and the other left. (NKJ)
LUK 17:34
I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be
taken and the other left.
(1Corinthians 15:50-52 NKJ)
(50) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. (51) Behold,
I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
- (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For
the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed.
(1Thessalonians 4:13-18 NKJ)
(13) But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those
who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. (14)
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring
with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (15) For this we say to you by the
word of the Lord, that we who are alive {and} remain until the coming
of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. (16) For the
Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will
rise first.
(17) Then we who are alive {and} remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always
be with the Lord. (18) Therefore comfort one another with these words.
(G) WE BELIEVE IN THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WITH HIS FRUITS
AND GIFTS ABIDING IN THE CHURCH.
(1 CORINTHIANS 6,12 & 14, 1 CORINTHIANS 1:7.)
(Galatians 5:22-23 NKJ)
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, self control. Against
such there is no law.
(1Corinthians 12:7-11 NKJ)
(7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the
profit {of all}: (8) for to one is given the word of wisdom through the
Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, (9)
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the
same Spirit, (10) to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy,
to another discerning of spirits, to another {different} kinds of tongues,
to another the interpretation of tongues. (11) But one and the same Spirit
works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
(H) WE BELIEVE IN THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR ALL BELIEVERS WITH
THE INITIAL EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT GIVES
UTTERANCE.
(Mark 16:17-18 NKJ)
(17) "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name
they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; (18) "they
will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no
means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
(Acts 1:1-8 NKJ)
(1) The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began
both to do and teach. (2) until the day in which He was taken up, after
He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom
He had chosen, (3) to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering
by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking
of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. (4) And being assembled
together with {them}, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem,
but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," {He said,}
"you have heard from Me; (5) "for John truly baptised with water,
but you shall be baptised with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
(6) Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord,
will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" (7) And He
said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the
Father has put in His own authority.
(8) "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
(ACTS 2:1-38.)
ACT 2:39
"For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who
are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." (NKJ)
(Acts 8:15-19 NKJ)
(15) who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive
the Holy Spirit. (16) For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They
had only been baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus. (17) Then they laid
hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. (18) Now when Simon
saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit
was given, he offered them money, (19) saying, "Give me this power
also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
(Acts 10:44-47 NKJ)
(44) While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell
upon all those who heard the word. (45) And those of the circumcision
who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the
gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. (46)
For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,
(47) "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptised
who have received the Holy Spirit just as we {have}?"
(Acts 19:1-7 NKJ)
(1) And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having
passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples
(2) he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?"
And they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there
is a Holy Spirit." (3) And he said to them, "Into what then
were you baptised?" So they said, "Into John's baptism."
(4) Then Paul said, "John indeed baptised with a baptism of repentance,
saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after
him, that is, on Christ Jesus." (5) When they heard {this}, they
were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus. (6) And when Paul had laid
hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues
and prophesied. (7) Now the men were about twelve in all.
(I) WE BELIEVE IN THE SACRAMENTS OF BAPTISM IN WATER BY FULL IMMERSION.
(Matthew 3:13-17 NKJ)
(13) Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptised
by him. (14) And John {tried to} prevent Him, saying, "I have need
to be baptised by You, and are You coming to me?" (15) But Jesus
answered and said to him, "Permit {it to be so} now, for thus it
is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
(16) Then Jesus, when He had been baptised, came up immediately from the
water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit
of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. (17) And suddenly
a voice {came} from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom
I am well pleased."
(Matthew 28:18-20 NKJ)
(18) Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (19) "Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) "teaching them to observe
all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, {even}
to the end of the age." Amen.
MAR 16:16
"He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does
not believe will be condemned. (NKJ)
(Acts 8:35-39 NKJ)
(35) Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached
Jesus to him. (36) Now as they went down the road, they came to some water.
And the eunuch said, "See, {here is} water. What hinders me from
being baptised?" (37) Then Philip said, "If you believe with
all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." (38) So he commanded the chariot
to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water,
and he baptised him. (39) Now when they came up out of the water, the
Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more;
and he went on his way rejoicing.
(J) THE LORDS SUPPER.
(Mark 14:22-26 NKJ)
(22) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed {it} and broke
{it}, and gave {it} to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
(23) Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave {it} to
them, and they all drank from it. (24) And He said to them, "This
is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. (25) "Assuredly,
I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that
day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God." (26) And when they
had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
(1Corinthians 11:23-26 NKJ)
(23) For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you:
that the Lord Jesus on the {same} night in which He was betrayed took
bread; (24) and when He had given thanks, He broke {it} and said, "Take,
eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of
Me." (25) In the same manner {He} also {took} the cup after supper,
saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often
as you drink {it}, in remembrance of Me." (26) For as often as you
eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till
He comes.
(K) WE BELIEVE IN THE INHERENT CORRUPTNESS OF MAN THROUGH THE
FALL IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN. (GEN 3, JOHN 3:17, 18, 36.)
THE NECESSITY FOR REPENTANCE AND REGENERATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH
ALONE IN THE DEATH, AND THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS TO CLEANSE US FROM OUR
SINS. ALSO IN THE BODILY RESURRECTION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THEREFORE
OUR FAITH IS NOT IN VAIN!
WE BELIEVE IN THE ESSENTIAL NEED OF THE NEW BIRTH BY FAITH IN THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST FOR BOTH JEW AND GENTILE.
JOH 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless
one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (NKJ)
JOH 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(NKJ)
(1Peter 1:18-19 NKJ)
(18) knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, {like}
silver or gold, from your aimless conduct {received} by tradition from
your fathers, (19) but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot.
(L) WE BELIEVE IN THE SANCTIFYING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BY WHOSE IN
DWELLING THE CHRISTIAN IS ENABLED TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE.
GAL 5:16
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of
the flesh. (NKJ)
JOH 14:16-17
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may abide with you forever, (NKJ) :17 "{even} the Spirit
of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
(NKJ)
(M) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE WORD OF GOD, WE TRUST OUR
HEAVENLY FATHER TO PROTECT AND HEAL OUR BODIES FROM SICKNESS AND DISEASE.
DIVINE HEALING FOR THE BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT BY PERSONAL FAITH IN JESUS
CHRIST.
(Matthew 8:16-17 NKJ)
(16) When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon possessed.
And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
(17) that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet,
saying: "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."
(James 5:14-15 NKJ)
(14) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church,
and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the
Lord. (15) And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will
raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
1PE 2:24
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having
died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were
healed. (NKJ)
(N) WE BELIEVE IN THE RESURRECTION OF BOTH THE SAVED AND THE UNSAVED.
ONE TO EVERLASTING LIFE AND THE OTHER TO EVERLASTING DAMNATION. WE BELIEVE
IN A LITERAL PLACE CALLED HELL, WHERE THE WICKED WILL BE FOR EVERLASTING
PUNISHMENT, THOSE WHO WILFULLY REJECT AND DESPISE THE LOVE OF GOD MANIFESTED
IN THE GREAT SACRIFICE OF HIS ONLY SON UPON THE CROSS FOR THEIR SALVATION.
WE BELIEVE THERE IS A LITERAL DEVIL AND HIS FALLEN ANGELS, WHO BY HIS
INFLUENCE AND POWER BROUGHT ABOUT THE DOWNFALL OF MAN AND NOW SEEKS TO
DESTROY THE FAITH OF EVERY BELIEVER IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. THEY AND
WHOSOEVER ARE NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE SHALL BE CONSIGNED
TO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.
JOH 3:36
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does
not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on
him." (NKJ)
(John 5:28-29 NKJ)
(28) "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all
who are in the graves will hear His voice (29) "and come forth -
those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have
done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
(2Thessalonians 1:8-9 NKJ)
(8) in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and
on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (9) These
shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the
Lord and from the glory of His power,
(Revelation 20:11-15 NKJ)
(11) Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place
for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,
and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is {the Book}
of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things
which were written in the books. (13) The sea gave up the dead who were
in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And
they were judged, each one according to his works. (14) Then Death and
Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (15)
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake
of fire.
2CO 4:4
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine on them. (NKJ)
(O) WE BELIEVE THAT SALVATION CAN BE LOST, THROUGH THE WILFUL ACT OF A
BELIEVERS BACKSLIDING.
(Hebrews 10:25-39 NKJ)
(25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as {is} the
manner of some, but exhorting {one another}, and so much the more as you
see the Day approaching. (26) For if we sin wilfully after we have received
the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
(27) but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation
which will devour the adversaries. (28) Anyone who has rejected Moses'
law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. (29)
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy
who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant
by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of
grace? (30) For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will
repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord will judge His people."
(31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (32)
But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured
a great struggle with sufferings: (33) partly while you were made a spectacle
both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions
of those who were so treated; (34) for you had compassion on me in my
chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that
you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.
(35) Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
(36) For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will
of God, you may receive the promise: (37) "For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. (38) Now the just shall
live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him."
(39) But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those
who believe to the saving of the soul.
2PE 2:22
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog
returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her
wallowing in the mire." (NKJ)
1TI 1:19
having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning
the faith have suffered shipwreck, (NKJ)
PRO 14:14
The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good
man {will be satisfied} from above. (NKJ)
(P) WE BELIEVE IN THE PRIVILEGE, OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF BRINGING
TITHES (OBLIGATION) AND OFFERINGS (RESPONSIBILITY) TO THE LORD, IN HIS
STOREHOUSE. THE TITHE WAS INSTITUTED BEFORE THE LAW WAS GIVEN, CONTINUED
THROUGH THE TIME OF THE LAW AND WENT ON INTO THE AGE OF GRACE, THE CHURCH
AGE.
GEN 14:20
And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your
hand." And he gave him a tithe of all. (NKJ)
(NUM 18:26, DEUT 14:22 & 28, 26:12, 2 CHR 31:5, NEH 13:12.)
(Malachi 3:8-11 NKJ)
(8) "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, `In
what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. (9) You are cursed
with a curse, for you have robbed Me, {even} this whole nation. (10) Bring
all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house,
and prove Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "If I will
not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you {such} blessing
That {there will} not {be room} enough {to receive it}. (11) "And
I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy
the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you
in the field," says the Lord of hosts;
2CO 9:7
{So let} each one {give} as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly
or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (NKJ)
(Q) WE BELIEVE IN CHURCH GOVERNMENT AND LEADERSHIP BY APOSTLES, PROPHETS,
EVANGELISTS, PASTORS, TEACHERS, ELDERS AND DEACONS.
1CO 12:28
And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets,
third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations,
varieties of tongues. (NKJ)
(Ephesians 4:7-12 NKJ)
(7) But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of
Christ's gift. (8) Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." (9) (Now this,
"He ascended" - what does it mean but that He also first descended
into the lower parts of the earth?
(10) He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens,
that He might fill all things.) (11) And He Himself gave some {to be}
apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
(12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ,
ALSO 1 TIMOTHY 3:1-16.
(R) WE BELIEVE THAT THE CHURCH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST ON THE EARTH, AND
THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY LEGITIMATE HEAD OF THAT BODY. WE
BELIEVE THAT CHRIST HAS BEEN GIVEN ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH,
AND AS JOINT HEIRS AND RULERS WITH CHRIST, THE CHURCH, THE CALLED OUT
BODY OF BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS HAS THAT POWER ALSO IN HIS NAME!
(Matthew 16:18-19 NKJ)
(18) "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock
I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against
it. (19) "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,
and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
(Matthew 28:18-20 NKJ)
(18) Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
(19) "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
(20) "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, {even} to the end of the age." Amen.
(Ephesians 5:22-33 NKJ)
(22) Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. (23) For the
husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and
He is the Saviour of the body. (24) Therefore, just as the church is subject
to Christ, so {let} the wives {be} to their own husbands in everything.
(25) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and
gave Himself for it, (26) that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word,
(27) that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having
spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without
blemish. (28) So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies;
he who loves his wife loves himself. (29) For no one ever hated his own
flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord {does} the church.
(30) For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. (31)
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined
to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." (32) This is a
great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. (33) Nevertheless
let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and
let the wife {see} that she respects {her} husband.
(1Peter 2:4-9 NKJ)
(4) Coming to Him {as to} a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but
chosen by God {and} precious, (5) you also, as living stones, are being
built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (6) Therefore it is also contained
in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect,
precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
(7) Therefore, to you who believe, {He is} precious; but to those who
are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected has become
the chief cornerstone," (8) and "A stone of stumbling and a
rock of offence." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to
which they also were appointed. (9) But you {are} a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may
proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous
light;
(S) 1.1 WE BELIEVE AND SUPPORT THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL
AND ITS EVERLASTING AND UNCONDITIONAL RIGHT TO EXIST AS A JEWISH HOMELAND.
(Genesis 17:7-8 NKJ)
(7) "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your
descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant,
to be God to you and your descendants after you. (8) "Also I give
to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger,
all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their
God."
(Psalms 105:1-11 NKJ)
(1) Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds
among the peoples. (2) Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His
wondrous works. (3) Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice
who seek the Lord. (4) Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore.
(5) Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the
judgments of His mouth, (6) O seed of Abraham His servant, You children
of Jacob, His chosen ones!
(7) He {is} the Lord our God; His judgments {are} in all the earth. (8)
He has remembered His covenant forever, The word {which} He commanded,
for a thousand generations,
(9) {The covenant} which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
(10) And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel {for} an everlasting
covenant, (11) Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan As
the allotment of your inheritance,"
(Galatians 3:17-18 NKJ)
(17) And this I say, {that} the law, which was four hundred and thirty
years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God
in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. (18) For if the
inheritance {is} of the law, {it is} no longer of promise; but God gave
{it} to Abraham by promise.
1.2 WE REJECT ALL FORMS OF REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY, BEING THAT THE CHURCH
HAS SPIRITUALLY REPLACED ISRAEL AND HAS LAID CLAIM TO BIBLICAL PROMISES
CONCERNING ISRAEL AND IN PREFERENCE TO ISRAEL. WE OPPOSE IN TEACHING AND
PREACHING ALL OTHER FORMS OF ANTISEMITISM, RACISM, AND ANTI-CHRISTIAN
TEACHING, AND ARE COMMITTED TO SPEAKING OUT ON SUCH ISSUES.
(Romans 11:11-12 NKJ)
(11) I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly
not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation {has
come} to the Gentiles. (12) Now if their fall {is} riches for the world,
and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!
ROM 11:25
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery,
lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that hardening in part has
happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. (NKJ)
GEN 12:3
I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you;
and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." (NKJ)
ISA 62:1
For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I
will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her
salvation as a lamp {that} burns. (NKJ)
1.3 WE BELIEVE THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH OF BOTH JEW AND
GENTILE, IS RETURNING TO EARTHLY JERUSALEM TO ESTABLISH HIS MILLENNIAL
KINGDOM AND TO BRING ABOUT RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS.
ZEC 8:3
"Thus says the Lord: `I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst
of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain
of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.' (NKJ)
ZEC 14:4
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces
Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
from east to west, {making} a very large valley; half of the mountain
shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. (NKJ)
1:4 WE BELIEVE THAT WHEN A JEW ACCEPTS JESUS AS HIS MESSIAH, HE IS GRAFTED
BACK INTO ISRAEL'S OLIVE TREE. HE REMAINS A JEW, FULFILLED IN JESUS, HIS
LORD AND SAVIOUR, JUST AS JESUS MAINTAINS HIS JEWISHNESS.
REV 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in
the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and
Morning Star." (NKJ)
REV 5:5
But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion
of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll
and to loose its seven seals." (NKJ) & (ROMANS CHPT 11.)
SUMMARY:
OUR BELIEFS ARE FUNDAMENTAL AND EVANGELICAL, OUR SOLE TEXT BOOK BEING
THE BIBLE, WHICH IS THE ONLY INFALLIBLE AND AUTHORITATIVE WORD OF GOD.
IT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE WORD OF GOD, BUT IS THE WHOLE WORD OF GOD.
OUR GOAL IS FOR ALL BELIEVERS TO EXPERIENCE AND LIVE A VICTORIOUS HOLY
SPIRIT FILLED LIFE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THE FULL COUNSEL OF THE
WORD OF GOD.
WE WILL ALWAYS TEACH THAT PENTECOSTAL EXPERIENCE IS REPEATABLE TODAY
IN THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, THROUGH THE BAPTISER IN THE HOLY
SPIRIT, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
WE BELIEVE IN THE MIRACULOUS POWER OF PENTECOST, THE MOVING IN THE SUPERNATURAL
OF GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, IN HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS, AND HIS MIGHTY HOLY
SPIRIT.
WE HAVE A SUPERNATURAL GOD, A SUPERNATURAL BIBLE, A SUPERNATURAL LIFE,
SUPERNATURAL RESOURCES, THAT ARE INEXHAUSTIBLE, AND SUPERNATURAL HOPE.
THE FIRST CHURCH WAS BORN SUPERNATURALLY ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST IN THE
HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE, AND IN THAT HOLY SPIRIT FIRE WE WILL, EVER CONTINUE.
WE ARE A FIRST CENTURY CHURCH, IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. SALVATION IS
THROUGH JESUS CHRIST ALONE. JOHN 14:6, ACTS 4:12.
ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. ROMANS 3:23. THEREFORE
ALL ARE IN NEED OF A PERSONAL SAVIOUR. ROMANS 10:9-10.
JESUS IS THAT PERSONAL SAVIOUR, HE DESIRES TO LIVE WITHIN THE REPENTANT
HEARTS OF MEN AND WOMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS EVERYWHERE!
(Revelation 3:20-22 NKJ)
(20) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and
he with Me. (21) "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me
on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
(22) "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches."'"
WHEN JESUS BECOMES OUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR, BY OUR REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS
OF OUR SINS. THROUGH OUR INVITATION WE ENTER THE FAITH FOR JESUS IS IN
US:
(2Corinthians 13:5-6 NKJ)
(5) Examine yourselves {as to} whether you are in the faith. Prove yourselves.
Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless indeed
you are disqualified.
(6) But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
